SCHOOL TRANSPORT RULES
School bus/van routes are drawn based on convenience and demand while ensuring that no route is overly long. Parents should consult the School Transport In-charge for necessary details. The following rules will be strictly adhered to
There shall be no availability of one way transport. A student either avails transport both ways or not at all.
Under no circumstances are students allowed to go behind or under the buses/vans parked on the school campus.
A student using the school bus/ van is expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. The student has to be on the correct side of the arriving bus/ van. Buses/ van will halt for only two minutes and will not wait for latecomers.
Students are allowed to use only their allotted bus/van and the designated pickup point. No change will be allowed without prior permission from the school in writing.
If a student misses his/her allotted bus/van, he/she should not try to board any other bus/van. In such a case, it will be the responsibility of the parents to drop their ward to school. Such Students may however, return by their allotted bus/van.
Students should stand on the footpath and stay away from main road and avoid going to the traffic area until the bus/van arrives.
No student should travel standing on the footboard or come near the door of the bus until it comes to a complete halt.
